Nursing bras?

Question

Can you wear underwire nursing bras while BFing? Or does it affect your ducts and supply? I need some support when I'm outside of the house and all the wireless bras I've tried do not have enough support. Also brand recommendations, I need to te measure but I'm around a 42d/42dd or 40 band, not sure if it's changed.

Answer

Wear a soft one as frequently as possible, but underwire is still fine as long as it's the right fit and you don't overdo it with how long you wear them. If I go too long in one, my boobs hurt and it honestly seems to cause them to become engorged quicker. That's only my experience though, and they might be totally fine for you :) I am a 34DDD/36DD if that helps.

I'm a size 36ddd, ill definitely be getting an underwire bra for when I leave the house. But at home I'll just wear a soft one. My last pregnancy I bought an Anita brand and it's super soft with enough support. And they come in larger sizes.
