Whats he stigma behind c sections?

Question

So ive been hearing a lot of women say mothers who deliver via csection do not know the real pain of childbirth... Whats wrong with a csection? Specifically an elective csection with no previous problems that would require one?

That's funny I had contractions and all but unfortunately I couldn't do it natural I needed a c section and honestly c sections are worse and honestly were the ones who risk our own lives to have our kids..
So to women who are the stigma behind the negative comments id say unless you did what we did your weak to us..
We are numb for id say 5-6 hours but once it wears off the worst pain comes ever walking hurts laughing hurts it's a mess disgusting nasty not fun..
If anything goes wrong we become paralyzed we can have massive bleed outs..
I personally don't chooooose to do this it saved me and my child's life..
And it was not easy at all to do..
We are all equal whether you pushed or got cut because in he end we gave birth..
We had a child we carried that child we sacrificed our body's to have this miracle no one is less of a mommy then the other.. Idc who you are we're all equal..
And I'm dam proud of my scar and my babies.. Love them to pieces

I was in labor for 30 hours with my first and ended up having a c-section. I don't know what it feels like to push a baby out of my vagina but I do know that contractions for 30 hours and having a c-section was no walk in the park. I was fine the next day. I could get up and walk around with a bit of pain. By the the time I went home I stopped taking pain medication. I know it's not like that for everyone. BTW does that apply to women who've had epidurals also? They don't know the true pain of labor and delivery. If you've done both, vaginal (no drugs) and c-section, I think you have the right to have a say in the matter otherwise you look silly.

I don't have anything against it, but I would think its the opposite! I've had 3 vaginal and I couldn't imagine having a big wound afterwards and that  major surgery. That would be scary! At least with vaginal once baby is  out your not in a lot of pain at all just some, and a swollen vagina. Props to the moms whom have c sections I would be so scared!!

Vaginal is preferred for a variety of reasons but one major reason someone should not elect to have a C section is a vagjnal delivery is the beginning to our child's immune system. During delivery they are inoculated with vagina bacteria which make their way into their intestines and begin to proliferate and start their immune function. Studies show babies delivered by C section have very different gut and bowel bacteria including pathogenic bacteria like staphylococcus (staph!). So if you can do vagjnal, do it.

I think the women that havnt had a csection shuld really keep their negative options to their selves.
If i had the option to have a natural birth i wuld have. Makes me upset that people are even saying that its not the same. Having a csection saved my sons life. I was in labor for literally 3days and the doctors didnt know what was happening until my waters broke and his heart rate was dropping dramatically and culd of died if they didnt act immediately.
And not to mention how much pain ur in after the pain killers wear off. Its not an easy process like some women are making this out to be it actually alot more harder than child birth and thats what i believe.

My mother has had 10 natural births and she told me that what i went thru was alot harder than what she had to go thru.

So to the women that have no idea what its like please be mindful on what you say to others on their experiences or what they are about to experience its not as easy as reading it on the internet or a book.

I had 26 hours of unmediated labor before I needed an emergency c-section! My baby's head got stuck, I could reach down & touch his head! I the brunt of both sticks! I am just thankful my son made it out alive. He was 9lbs, 4oz! No wonder...

However a woman gives birth shouldn't matter, all that matters is that mommy & baby come out healthy!!!

I've had 3 natural births and 1 emergency csection and the csection by far was the worse pain/recovery ive ever felt in my life. Not trying to scare anyone but im having another csection so i can get my tubes tied at the same time and im terrified. Anyone who says csections are the easy way in my opinion is out of their minds especially if you have another small child and little to no help

I think the reference to the pain of child birth may be talking about the pain of the baby's head coming out, the crowning is also known as the ring of fire for a reason lol 
But electing to have a c section  doesn't make a mother any less of a mother. I personally wouldn't do it, recovery from vaginal is much much easier and c section is a major abdominal surgery carrying with it a number of risk factors not only during the surgery but during recovery. It also makes it less likely that one would be able to deliver vaginally for the next baby.

It's not fair that it's viewed differently. I've decided if I have to have a c-section I'm not going to tell anyone if I can help it. I'm carrying this baby for 40 weeks, who cares how it came out? 
I'm gonna tell people to Mind Their Own Business and ask "why does it matter?"
