How soon can you test?

This is my first month ttc and I've seen several girls saying they get a positive as soon as 7 dpo! Just wondering when I should test!? Mine is due the 16th of December

IMO girls who say they got a BFP at 7 DPO didn't calculate their O right and they ovulated earlier than they thought. I would say 10DPO would be a good place to start, get internet cheapies so your not blowing money on testing.

I got a bfn on 8 dpo and on 10dpo I got a very faint positive but it was def there. 7 dpo is way way to early

I got a positive on 9dpo with my first and 8dpo with my second, but with evening urine. I know I'm not calcatimg the days wrong because I did blood work at the doc the day after i ovulated to check ovulation. Fmu is always the weakest for me.

If you can wait, take one the day AF is due. It was difficult for me to wait so I got a BFP at 10 dpo. I miscarried at 12 weeks so when we start trying again, I'm going to try to wait until AF is due so that I can avoid the disappointment if I happen to have a CP.
