Frustrated

I am so frustrated...I am 38 weeks, baby is over 7lbs. I've been having terrible Braxton Hicks and stopped working because, as a nurse who works all weekend on call, my blood pressure was just too high...of course whenever I would go in to get checked it would be lower so the midwives are not concerned...I thought they would check me at my appointment today but she wouldn't because I have Group B Strep...so I don't even know where I stand...I want to be induced at 39 weeks and 1 day because I'm also in grad school and classes start January 12...my school is 2 hours away from my home. I'm so sick of people telling me I shouldn't induce but I just want to spend as much time with my baby as possible...I have to wait until Tuesday to find out if the midwife will even allow me to be induced...I've done every natural thing except castor oil and have even done acupuncture...grrrr...thanks for letting me vent!!!
