Colds! What to take?!

Ok ladies! I have had a nasty cold/sore throat come on! I feel terrible! I have tried finding out what to take but everything I read says to stay away from any medicine especially in the first trimester! Help!!! Anyone have any home remedies or thoughts to help me get over this?! Thank you!!

Boil  a Apple in slices and a orange no need to peel them just cut them boil them take the water from it add lemon and honey and cinnamon  I got a nasty cold and it went away 2 days drink it one during the day  and before  bed

Up your liquids. Hot tea with honey and lemon is a good one to drink. Or water. Try to stay away from milk based drinks. A humidifier is a good idea. Peppermint helps with congestion. Peppermint tea would be perfect. Robitussin is approved for pregnancy if you think you need cough syrup.

Lemon in hot water, essential oils (if you're into them), Neti pot for nasal drainage and I do lots of water and tea

Try honey and cinnamon. Mix equal parts and take a spoonful. This has helped sore throats in the past, but make sure the honey is all natural and preferably from somewhere close by.
