She was 5 weeks early with a (scheduled) c section due to an emergency situation. My baby was dropping her heart rate with my early contractions so they concluded she wasn't able to handle the labor. We made the decision to TRY to hold it off & keep her in utero as long as possible but had a late decel with a giant contraction I had & decided it was best not to wait anymore & had her the same night. She's 2 weeks out in the nimcc & is doing better every day. She's had apnea & has bradycardiac episodes which keeps her in there an extra 5 days every time one of these episodes happen. I fee my heart breaking because she isn't home with me. I know she's safe & is getting healthy before she comes home. I'd rather her be there being monitored vs at home with me not knowing if her heart rate drops & her oxygen goes down with it. Looking for someone to let me know it gets easier & I'm not the only one :'(
