Anyone have heart burn so bad ya puked?

So last night going to bed, I lay down, for about 20 mins. Starting fighting back the dreaded heartburn. It's like I couldn't keep those stomach acid juices down. Next thing I knew I was running to the bathroom to puke. Anyone else get this?

I have thrown up acid a lot due to awful heartburn throughout my whole pregnancy so far. I'm 24 w 3 d. Have 
Gotten heartburn almost daily since day one. I actually feel better after I puke up the acid

No but I felt like I was close! Tums only work for a short time so I'm taking zantac for long term relief.

I've been dealing with acid reflux for a very long time, even before my pregnancy. Now that I'm pregnant my doc prescribed me medication, similar to nexium. It helped me in the beginning, but now that I'm 26 weeks I'm not so sure it's working anymore

My advice:
1. Elevate your bed so that you're not flat
2. Try to sleep on your left side because it helps keep food and acid from reaching the opening of your stomach
3. Drink a lot of water to dilute the acidity in the stomach 
4. Don't eat a heavy meal before going to sleep, last meal should about 3-4 hours before going to bed

Yes! Even when I drink water. I got prescription Zantac from my OB.

Yep. Finally gave in and got a prescription from my doctor about a month ago. Haven't had heartburn since!

I've had this.. Kept on vomiting too. I finally took a Zantac and it stopped.. It is so awful...

I've got heartburn all day every day! I haven't gotten sick yet but sometimes I would like to.  Tums doesn't touch it!
