I'm 38 weeks today and for the past two weeks I've been having some issues with my blood pressure being slightly elevated (last appointment on Monday it was 142/88, typically it's been 116/76). Anyways, they've noticed the protein levels in my urine have increased mildly and they haven't found a cause for concern just yet, but they are making me come in 2 times a week until baby is here. I wont go back until 38w5d and was wondering if I can request a membrane sweep to jump start labor? I'm at 3cm dilated right now.
