? For those who found out gender via Ultrasound

Question

If you found out your baby's gender through ultrasound:

Was the tech equally as quick detecting girl as they were detecting boy?

We asked the tech to look but not tell us and I heard her typing and printing the picture for us to have later REALLY quickly!

My tech looked at me before the ultrasound and said " I already know what you're having" by the way I was carrying. Anyway turns out my bladder gets full and makes my belly look a little different because she thought it was a boy and turns out it was a girl. She found it easily but it was a 3d ultrasound so easier to detect I think.

The minute the sonographer put wand on my stomach she said "I know what baby is!" And it's a girl:)

It's really easy to tell the difference, especially if the baby isn't stubborn, today mine kept his legs crossed until I rolled on my side. You can totally tell it's a boy look.. Lol congrats

It depends more on if your baby is being cooperative. They can tell quickly either way if baby will let them. :)

Our tech told us at 12 weeks and she was very confident. I didn't ask for her to tell us. And for my first, I also found out at 12 weeks and the doctor knew right away. And once again I didn't ask him, he asked if we wanted to know.

Our daughter was spread eagle and very obviously a girl. Hoping this little one will be just as open about their sex!

I haven't gone for mine yet and don't want to find out either, but i would expect the techs know what they are looking for and if the baby is in the right position it should be clear to them either way so I wouldn't assume that means boy

My baby had the legs crossed and refused to open them, the doctor actually had to look from the back to see the three lines that meant girl. There were times during the ultrasound that her legs opened a bit and i could tell there was nothing dangling there, so we're confident he was right, but the ultrasound tech couldn't tell when it came time to so she had to wait for the doctor. All depends on how baby cooperates!

Mine went looking at said girl really quick. Their parts are easy to figure out sometimes if they don't hide em.. You can def tell a boy from his thing cuz it's up lol n w a girl there's nothing sticking out.. I'm guessing it's that simple lol

It was the easiest thing to tell with our little girl. She is quite the little mover but as a soon as the tech got to that area it was clear as day. Looks like three little white lines.
