Ok, I know this is a heated topic and I am not trying to ruffle any feathers! I am a first time mom (expecting a boy June 3rd) and a preschool teacher, so I have mixed emotions on the whole vaccination debate. I do think children need to be vaccinated from deadly diseases... But a teeny part of me is a little nervous. Recently I learned about Dr Sears alternative schedule to vaccinations. I know very little about all of this so I am not asking for anyone to argue, but rather share their expertise or any knowledge from their Doctor. I will certainly ask our doctor at our next visit, and just ordered Dr Sears book about spreading out vaccinations a little bit. In short, it looks like he came up with a schedule where the child gets 2 per month rather than 5-6, and can still be caught up by the time the child is ready for 4 year old preschool. It sounds good to me (so far)... Any opinions or advice? Thx 💙👶🏻
