Cramping After Sex?! 😏

I'm in my 3rd trimester and here lately I've been having cramping after my husband & I have sex. This is my 3rd pregnancy & this has never happened before. We aren't being too rough or crazy, if anything it's turned into regular basic sex. Any suggestions on why this may be happening?

Thanks for the reassurance ladies!! I haven't had any blood & the pain does go away after a little while. It was just a little strange to me, since this never happened with my other pregnancies. But like they say, "every pregnancy is different."

I get the most god awful round ligament pain after sex and on top of if contract a little. I cried last night after. On top of it I kept saying I was sorry because it was the most awful awkward sex because Of my belly and because I hurt all over. 36wks5d

I'm 35 weeks and the past couple weeks I cramp after sex also. It's just contractions.

An orgasm can cause you to have minor contractions. I've read about it. I'm at 24 weeks and sometimes experience it myself but I asked my doc and he said it's completely normal as long as there isn't sever bleeding and the pain subsides shortly after
