How all of your tried Zantac while being pregnant?

Lately ive been having bad indegestion and heartburn i have taken tums but it comes and go the disconforting and i called my ob she said look at the packet i used to take maxxlox or mylanta and i remeber asking her about a month ago she no and so she said take tums or zantac.. How many of you took zantac being pregnant? Can it harm the baby?.

Zantac is great, I have to use the 150s. So is pepcid. Just don't do pepto and you'll be fine

I'm on zantac currently & was on it with my 2nd pregnancy it works wonders it's actually helped my throwing up so much!!!

I took it regularly with my first (prescribed by the doc). Totally helped and the old wives tale was true, my daughter had a full head of hair.

I looked it up and some are considered safe and some have no info and suggest not taking them. Not sure where Zantac stood in there. But there are a lot of types of antacids now.

My doctor prescribed it over a week ago and it's been a lifesaver! It has helped me so much, and I had acid reflux before being pregnant so mine was horrible.

I take it daily. Sometimes morning and night but mostly just at bedtime. I had a horrible bout of GERD right before I got pregnant and the med I was on for it was not something my OBwanted me to continue. Switched to Zantac and it works amazingly well!

Yesterday i took zantac i also posted the comment zantac did it work.. My ob packet said maxxlox but then she told me not take because it has alot of aluminionm.

I use it daily. I have acid reflux bad anyways so I was already using it before I got pregnant. And my doc told me to keep taking it for heartburn. But I use the generic brand Equate Ranitidine. 150mg. It works well for me, unless I forget to take it. Lol

My dr has me on Zantac 150. I take it in the morning and sometimes after dinner if I get indigestion. Seems to be working for me. It's a category B so pretty safe to take.
