Has anyone watched this movie yet?

It's called The Business of Being Born. It's a documentary about the US and baby birth. It's very interesting, a little dated from the early 2000s I believe but it opened my eyes quite a bit. I'm now using a midwife for my first baby.

I realllllly enjoyed both those documentarys,  if you have Netflix check out breastmilk. Its about breastfeeding. I found it pretty informative!

I watched it and there is much truth to it. I'm aiming for a drug free birth, and I'm curious if I'll notice a difference in my baby.

Was going to do a natural birth before watching it and it only convinced me further to push for no meds. Yes it was bias in the angle of home birthing but so many people are against it that I found it refreshing. Also thought it was quite funny when my previous Dr went nuts and basically told me I would die if I did a home birth. I'm using a birthing center anyway but thought it was really interesting that the doctor went off about it so much.

I have and I'm actually going to try for a drug free labor and delivery. I will still have to go to the hospital since I'm considered high risk with gestational diabetes and also trying for a vbac. My doctor is actually pretty awesome and said the whole labor and delivery will be what I want and she will go with whatever I need. Have you watched the second part of that movie where they break it down to 3 sections?

I'm having my 5th child. I watched this film and it made me realize how disappointed I am with my current doctor. I have scheduled an appointment at a midwifery and I have my first appointment there at the end of this month.  I hope to have a home birth but if not delivery at their center would be fine as I would get to go home soon after giving birth.
