How far along were you when you found out the sex??

Question

I would like to find out the sex of our little one ASAP.  My doctors office won't do a gender scan till 18-20 weeks.  Some ultrasound places say 13-14 weeks.  Anyone have success with a scan being correct that early??  Thank you!

Most "techs" at boutique places are not formally trained, let alone registered, sonographers. I would personally never even offer a guess until 16w, as the genitals can appear ambiguous up to (and even beyond) that point. Save your money and wait until your anatomy scan.

I'm going to one of the sneak peak places on the 23rd to get mine. I'll be 3 days shy of 16 weeks on that day, according to the measurements at my last ultrasound  (was measuring a week behind from my original due date). My midwife said they should be able to tell at 16 weeks, so hopefully we'll find out then! (I'll get it reconfirmed at my anatomy scan the month after and keep receipts for any gendered things we buy until then). I had the option to find out via the Harmony blood test, but I'm so bad with needles I decided to wait the extra month.
