So I know its not the normal... but what do you ladies say about proposing to your boyfriend?

I've been with mine for four years.. we have had a rough patch but this year has been amazing for us. In the past I've told him I didn't see the hype about marriage.. mainly cause I don't have a dad to give me away or a mom to plan a wedding with. I've realized though that's not important and would love to make a family with him.

So guess im just wondering people thoughts on asking your boyfriend for marriage.
