Seriously why?

I don't quite understand why so many women post their possible results on here before telling their husband? Is it just me?

it depends, when I got my bfp, it was 8am in the morning and my fiancé doesn't finish until 7pm, I jumped on here and posted, I was so excited after 13months of ttc I had to tell somebody!!!!

You will all be the first to know of my BFP!! (When it comes) 
I'm not telling anyone (other than my husband) for about 4-5 months! I miscarried & I know I will be to excited to keep it to myself. But I also don't wanna tell everyone I know in case something crazy happens again. 
Personally I think it's weird that you think it's weird lol

There's nothing wrong with that. I would too. Maybe they want to surprise their husband later but need to let out their excitement to someone right now

I think some woman want to talk about their tests and want to think of a way to surprise their husbands. It's not as if they are telling everyone in their lives and telling him last or what ever the case is. And I feel that most woman probably want to get opinions also before hand before telling husband to know for sure. Example I've had multiple positives over this last year told my man and everyone could see it but then my period came for what ever reason it was. The tests began making my man frustrated and he doesn't understand so I carry negatives and maybes to myself till I know for sure then I will surprise him. I don't want to see disappointment on my mans face. I don't want to get another hug that screams of apology because it hasn't happened yet. And when I do tell him next time it's going to be for sure and it's going to be a cute way of surprising him something special.

Well i had a bfp on Wednesday and today, i told my coworkers, they were very happy. Am personally waiting to tell my husband until xmas, i think he would appreciate it more has a surprise. To the reason why we do it, is because we are exited to have a new life coming to the world, and the people here or around us mostly know what we have gone thru. I guess the why is more a personal choice.

I get why. If I get a BFP I probably will be so excited that I will post first. I don't want to just send my husband a text at work saying I'm pregnant.  I want to surprise him.

I like that there's a sense of community here. A support network. A place where a majority of us are going through the same thing together; you guys understand the blood, sweat and tears (literally) that go into achieving that coveted BFP. That second pink line is a mark of success and who better to tell than the very women who are going through the same thing? Women who will applaud you but protect your beautiful little secret at the same time? Husband aside, the Glow family is the second entity with whom I'll share my good news! Everyone else, 12 weeks later lol
