To ask to be induced this weekend...? I'm currently 39 weeks, on Sunday I will be 40 weeks. My mom can't leave, or miss, work whatsoever because she is on probation for missing too many days in the first place. I want my mom there to be my support system and she really wants to be there too. There is no way whatsoever she can leave her job or not show up the next morning in order to be there for when my daughter will be born. I want to ask my midwife to induce me either Friday or Saturday so my mom can be there. Is that selfish?
