Picked names for a boy or girl. 

Boy first name Cohen. It has special meaning to us, when we met the first date we had we found out we both loved the OC. Ended up watching every episode together. I walked down the aisle to the theme song at our wedding. The name was in the show. Seems dumb maybe but for us that show was our first common interest. 

Apparently the name has a special meaning in Jewish community. The family in the show who had it was Jewish. 

Read in some forums that it was offensive since the name is the last name of Jews from the direct decent from Aaron. Which is a pretty big deal. We aren't Jewish. I wouldn't think it would be that big a deal but I don't want to name a child something that could cause controversy his whole life. Whether warranted or not. It wouldn't be meant to be disrespectful. It's just something special we both were like omg what about this name and fell in love with that idea. And it's somewhat silly but meaningfulness to us. What do you think?  Any people of Jewish faith and Heritage, I would love it your input. I love how the name means priest. I think wow what a meaningful name. But some stuff I read was really controversial.
