Chemical Pregnancy Pains?

Question

Hey ladies, so I had a very very faint positive last Friday. Then, all tests I took were BFN. I woke up yesterday to the worst cramps I've ever experienced. AF started a few hours later, and intense nausea and bloating have continued through today.

I'm assuming that I had a chemical pregnancy. But does this accompanying pain sound normal to anyone? Has anyone else experienced this??

A period from a chemical period is like a regular period. Lots of women experience a chemical pregnancy without being any the wiser, they simply think their period was late. There's lots of reasons your cramps can be heavier this cycle, from stress to dehydration or for no reason at all. That being said, I'm sorry you're going through that getting a period after a positive can be emotional.

Sorry for your loss. Yes those are normal but still consult your doctor. Your body has a lot of hormones going through it now which can cause those feelings. Personally i had extreme cramping and af came pretty much right away. I was not nauseous after although i vomited while af came. But i did feel like someone was wringing me out like a towel in my abdomen the day after.

Very sorry Victoria. Take care of yourself. Early this week, I had a positive digital and then started having super severe cramping, then bleeding. I went to the doctor the next day (which I recommend for you) so they could determine whether it was a chemical pregnancy or ectopic pregnancy.  They did a blood draw that day and 2 days later. They did this to test my HCG levels and progesterone to see if I was still pregnant. Because I was no longer pregnant on the second blood draw, they concluded that it was a chemical pregnancy.

I asked if I had done/eaten something to cause it.  The answer is no.

When you go, they will let you know how long you need to wait until your body is ready to try again.

The pain has subsided for me and my period just ended. I'll be back in the game very soon.
