Thoughts? Race card.. Not accepted in...

Question

So I will not hide myself here's my opinion and thought... EVERYONE deserves an education period! 
But NO race is entitled to get into a college based off your skin color no one!
It's based off your GPA your position in school and how well you stand out to colleges..
I'm white yes I got into my 1st choice college yeyyyy but not because i am white because I earned it!
I worked very hard I pulled great grades honor roll I was in field hockey and science lab..
I also did undergrad for a lawyers office held my grades and made a way for MYSELF no one helped me and my color didn't either..
We all deserve a great education a great way threw college but work for it! 
I'm not sure why people like her have to do this it makes me sad to have another white person blame a color and say there the reason she isn't in her choice of college..
Not every white person is this way and honestly on behalf of whites I am sorry for her stupidity..
And we all work towards the path the life we shall live based on our actions and what we do in our own lives from childhood to adulthood..
I'm proud she stands up for her "beliefs" but this was a bad thing to fight over and take it so far..
That is all if I'm hated for this I apologize actually I don't..
I just don't see how a color of a race could keep me from entering a school.. I just can't it's wrong.

The courts already analyzed the admissions data. There were 47 students admitted to the school with lower indexes than she had. 42 of those students were white students. 5 students were minorities.

I watched a very interesting TED talk about privilege the other day, and the man speaking was talking about men who would say "that black woman took my job" or "that black man got my promotion" because of affirmative action. And the speaker pointed out how they always thought referred to it as HIS job or HIS promotion. Not "he got the job instead of me". Anyways I think this sense of entitlement needs to stop amongst the privileged classes. It's anyone's spot to take, if someone black took it then ok.

Related question: should "legacy admissions" (i.e. getting "points" on your application because other members of your family - grandparents, parents, siblings - attended the school) be abolished as well?

Even if you worked your ass off and paid for everything yourself it's because you're white...

For someone who has worked so hard to get to where I am, it's really upsetting when people assume it's been handed to me.

I imagine this is how whites feel as well. Which is why I don't think the quota thing is good for anyone, but it's necessary.

I'm curious how she got a hold of other students' information, other wise how can she be so certain she was ONLY turned away for being white?

I agree that admission should be based on past academic sucess, but this whacko had a horrible SAT score and no discernible extra-curricular achievements.
