Are you F***ing kidding me!?

So a couple months ago my husband and I agreed to start trying for baby #2. We has sex yesterday and this morning I finally got a positive on my ovulation test. So I text him and told him tonight is an important night to have sex. He gets home I cook him dinner and while we are eating I told him after our son goes to bed we should go upstairs *wink wink*. He tells me he's got a bunch of stuff to work on. Are you freaking kidding me! So I asked him why he could take at least 15 minutes to come upstairs with me. He said we had sex last night why is it such a big deal? So I had to re-explain ovulation and the time frame to him for the 5th time. What do I get? "Well just wait up for me until I'm finished". Um no I'm not waiting up until 1 or 2 in the morning for you. I'm just so pissed right now. When it's an important time for sex all of a sudden he's not in the mood or his bs project is more important than us! WTF?!

I would stop telling him. Have sex whenever, still track your cycle and when ovulating make sure to baby dance in that time frame. I've seen the more pressured they are by being told it's time to bd the less they want to have sex because they see it as using them and sometimes sex only happens during that small frame of time and they know that's the only reason you're wanting to have sex...

Man are allowed to have hobbies, work, get distracted or whatever when ttc. It is a stressful process for them as well and more than likely they won't always understand. I'm sorry but I don't think you're in the right to be getting mad, I totally understand after being ttc for 3 years but either way. When the time is right, it'll happen.

If it makes you feel better this exact same situation happened to me when my husband and I conceived our second child. It turns out sex the night before was enough for us. I was furious at the time though.

If it's for work is day it's important...no point in trying to have a second baby if he lost his job and you couldn't afford it.

Maybe get a baby sitter tomorrow night and make it all romantic?

Second some husbands just don't see the urgency that we have. If we act as if it's not a big deal it makes them want it more then us. If that makes any sense.
