Epidural or not??

I was wondering for the mothers who have had an epidural with there first and didn't have one with there second or third was there a major difference in time?

Big difference! You have more control of your body without an epidural...
My son: epidural-9 pushes 
1st daughter: no epidural (by choice) 3 pushes
2nd daughter: no epidural (by choice) 1 push 
And now I'm pregnant with #4 and I want to have a home water birth! I got this! 👍🏾👌🏾

Had one for my first. Long, painful, tiring labor. Also a first time mom! Didn't know what to expect, thought the contractions I had for 12 hrs were doing something but I stayed at 1-1.5cm forever! Total time was close to 20 hrs. Second, had less than a 3hr labor, intense strong contractions. Got to the hospital I was 7-8cm, knew I could do it. Had her 30mins later. Painful yes, but the recovery, bonding, instance of postpartum has been so much better/easier. I'd do natural all over again in a heartbeat

I went into labor naturally and had my daughter on her due date. No epidural by choice.

My labor was 14 hours long and she was sunny sidebup and got stuck before she started to crown.

My 2nd was an overdue induction with no pain medication. It was 17 hours with zero complications.

3rd was an induction at 38 weeks the epidural placed at a 4 after they broke my water. We went in at 8am and she was born at 1:28am. So labor lasted several hours...I also had been given mag for pre eclampsia so it slowed my contractions down.

I say NO EPIDURAL is best for me personally. Unless an induction is required

With my first I had an epidural. With baby i want to try natural, it scares me a little thinking about the pain, but I know I can do it. With my daughter I pushed twice and she was out. They asked me not to push because my doctor hadnt shown up yet. It was crazy fast.

My first labor was an induction for very low fluid. He was a 25 hour labor 2 hours pushing ( I literally couldn't feel myself push)  and I had a epidural he wasn't breathing and it was all a big blur I was out of it a lot.... But he's fine now almost 9 
Due to all that I chose for the next baby not to have one... Wanted to remember my experience. And my water broke naturally she came 5 hours later and only 15 mins of pushing. 
The third baby I chose to have another epidural my husband was deployed and I just didn't feel I had support to make it through without one she came in 7 and a hour of pushing... She was sunny side up though... And it only numbed one leg I felt everything else including her coming out. And my back hurt for months after. 
Now I'm on my fourth and I'll stick with NO epidural that's just me.

Omg I wish I could have went natural. That was my original intention but that was quickly derailed. My water broke at 1cm and I had zero contractions so they pumped me full of pitosin so I would deliver quicker and not risk infection .  I could only handle going 4cm- I just couldn't take it!!! Holy crap.  God bless you ladies that were able to go with no meds!!

In my country they are very big on not using drugs during birth.. it is available but it is not a norm.

My first son 9.5years ago at the hospital natural (3pushes 30 minutes and he was out)

The birth of my daughter will also be natural but an at home water birth.

I had epidural for my first two and my third came so fast we didn't have time to even get one. I'm about to have my fourth and don't plan on having one. It's crazy but your body just knows what it has to do. I felt like I barely had to push cause my body just did it! And the recovery was much much better!!
