So this may sound petty, but I just need to vent. A couple at our church just recently got engaged.. They have been together 3 MONTHS. My boyfriend and I have been together about 3 and a half years, and marriage is the end goal. The problem is money. Neither of us make enough money right now to get engaged. My boyfriend, however, has been offered two jobs that pay VERY well, that would be a great opportunity for him.. He has acknowledged this. He turned them both down though. This tells me that e doesn't actually want to get married but he tells me in the very same breath he turned that job down with that he does. It makes no sense to me. The couple that got together recently, the guy got his job situation together immediately as soon as he met her. I just wish my man would do that for me. Or at the least show me that he's trying to start our life. I go to school and work full time, and I'm really getting tired of being the only one that seems to be trying. But i can't say anything cause I would be sounding like a bitch to him. I'm just feeling so lost, and wondering if staying is even worth it anymore if we around going to be moving forward.
