So last night my partner of 5 years and I were watching a movie and about to get down & dirty . All of a sudden he says "babe your not fun anymore" (sexually)

I was so hurt and upset! I do everything and anything he wants - spontaneous blow jobs, anal, I give rim jobs, I give him sex whenever he wants it (usually) and we frequently go to sex shops and get vibrators and rings and all sorts. He keeps saying that he takes it back but I still have mixed feelings about it 😔

I'm also very self conscious of my weight because I've gained quite a lot since we met so this hasn't help my self esteem ! - rant over 😔

First of all that was really inconsiderate of him to say it the way he did and at that time, super lame. 
Personally I would need to know what sparked it, not for self deprecation but for understanding. Something made it pop out of his mouth and I doubt it was you being boring, it sounds to me like there's something he wants to do that he's not telling you. 
Bringing it up again will probably only spark a fight and definitely upset you more, but you should talk to him. Start a conversation about things you like to do sexually, and at some point tell him that if there's anything else he's been thinking of he should let you know because you're open to new stuff 😉 Asking him outright if he has a secret fantasy he hasn't told you about will really put him on the spot, but by letting him know you're always listening, he'll be more likely to bring it up in his own. 
All this being said if you already are completely open with each other, then I have no explanation other than him bring a big jerk face.

He might of not meant it the way you interpreted it. Men are pretty stupid they don't know how to talk to women they think we think the same as them. I would understand how that would hurt but try not let it get to you. If he says it again say "well your not a bag of fun also! You can't expect me to make it fun for you all the time you gotta put in some effort too".

Again try not let it get to you.

Ugh I swear men are from different planets, they don't have the same feelings as we do. Not to worry about the way you look Hun. Your are a beautiful person inside and out! 
You could buy some sexy lingerie to spice things back up again that could work! Or try some new positions?
