Delete off fb?

This guy and I were dating but hadn't been exclusive we talked everyday for months and when we went in dates we'd stay up until the morning... anyways for some reason he stop texting me as often the out if the blue on my birth day wished me happy birthday and never texted me back... we were good friends who both admitted feeling for each other... it confuses the hell out if me and I've never had it happen we became friends from a summer camp we worked at so we have mutual friends I see him liking all my friends things and such... I unfollowed him becuase it hurt to see his posts.. I feel like I should delete him all together because I'm so angry and frustrated with the way he dropped me but would that be childish? I want to be the bigger person but I'm hurt and I don't think he should have any access to my life since he obviously didn't want to be part of it what do you guys think?
