9 dpo 6 days before period, spotting after sex. Implantation? Help!

Question

Last night my husband and I had sex and when I wiped there was blood. It only lasted a few wipes and then it was gone and no more bleeding since so its not my period. Been TTC for 14 months and this has never happened before. I also had a slight dip in BBT this morning. Yesterday was 9dpo and 6 days before my period. Do you think this is implantation?

Answer

I had some spotting after sex twice this month. The first happened two dpo and again at 6 dpo. I actually had an exam yesterday and everything looked healthy. My doc said this can happen in early pregnancy because the cervix has increased blood flow and is very sensitive. It's only 8 dpo for me so too soon to test. Fingers crossed for both of us!
