Bit of a long story but I'd appreciate any thoughts or opinions.

I've started the clearblue ovulation study one of the women mentioned on this page.

On Wednesday I had light cramping, figured it was Af and sure enough had some spotting so figured period was about to start. The clearblue ovulation study arrived yesterday and they request you take a pregnancy test before starting. I figured well, might aswell but I know my period is practically here. Anyway the result is posted below..

Totally confused, can you cramp and have spotting/light bleeding in what I can only presume would be very early pregnancy? I did a pregnancy test last week and it was negative... Part of me is just presuming that this will be a false positive and when I test again in the morning, I'll get another negative.

P.s was fmu and definitely read within time window. It came up practically straight away.
