I recently broke up with my boyfriend of four months and at the end of the relationship I found out that he was in love with another girl the whole time. She's his ex (they broke up 3 years ago) and I asked him before we made things official if he still had feelings for her and he said no. But when we were breaking up, I told him how much I love and care about him and he started crying because he said that was how he felt about his ex. She's now engaged but I know he's still not over her and it really upsets me. I haven't spoken to him since we broke up (just over a week ago). How can I tell him that he hurt me and that he needs to get over her without sounding too angry about it? (I still want to be with him and don't want to ruin my chances by upsetting him about it)
