I only cried once on the phone, last Christmas. He deployed just a week before Christmas and it was really hard for me do be without him during the holidays. Since then, I've kept it together no matter what. You don't want him to be worried about you while his deployed, you need to show you're strong and ok. Worrying can just get him in trouble.
