Endometriosis
The doctor diagnosed me with endometriosis during our first consult (TTC for 1 year at this point) yesterday. I've been in excruciating pain my whole life during my cycle but just assumed that was how things worked but the headaches and exhaustion and cramps have gotten worse with age, sometimes lasting the whole month. This app helped me be more in tune with my body to actually realize how frequent my headaches and fatigue were occurring.
He put me on adderall to help with pain and fertility in addition to progesterone after ovulation to help pregnancy stick. Hoping this is what I need to stop the bloat, migraines, cramps and backaches, in addition to getting our first little one.
But my goodness, I had no idea I would have to go to the doctor a few times a month for bloodwork and ultrasounds to pursue fertility. It's quite time consuming and expensive 😑 Has anyone pursued fertility but only had to go every few months? We are in no urgency and totally wouldn't mind trying on our own with the help of whatever has been prescribed and fine tuning every few months until something sticks. This is just not what I expected. Thanks in advance.
