7 days after birth and I'm breast feeding, never trusted condoms as great contraceptives but what are the chances of getting pregnant if I was to have sex again?

You can totally get pregnant and they tell you not have have sex for 6 weeks because your cervix may still be open and you basically have a wound where your placenta detached. You are more prone to infection.

They say to wait at least until your bleeding stops because it's easier to introduce an infection right now. It is also ping to be quite painful and bruised inside Eben if it doesn't feel like it right now.
I started having sex with my dh again at 4w pp and it was uncomfortable and tender. Not sore but more bruised a bit snd like the muscles weren't used to what was happening right then. I started my pill though right after my bleeding stopped because I wasn't risking pregnancy lol.

You are actually at the most fertile now than before you got pregnant...they say to wait 6 weeks and get the ok from your doctor because your cervix is still open and you could potentially get in infection in your uterus, but it's your body and do what you want to...just know the possibility of you getting pregnant again is highly possible!
