Would you call the doctor?

I had my cervix checked today (37 weeks) and now I'm having brown colored discharge. Back pain is mild...been like this for about a week now so nothing major. Should I wait until it's pink or I'm having actual contractions?

I'm 38+6 and have had cervix checks the last 3 weeks. Each time I have gotten brownish red discharge after. That's normal. But if you're worried, calling the doctor for peace of mind can't hurt.

Every time I have my cervix checked I spot for 2-3 days...they said it was normal as long as it doesn't get heavier
