So I went in for my 20 week scan today and as far as there being a baby there's still a baby with a good strong normal heartbeat. Well the u.s tech was a little concerned because by the measurements he took from the baby he said the baby is measuring at 26 weeks not 20 and is weighing 900 grams which he said was 2 pounds. So he said usually the reason for that is diabetes and diabetes runs on my mom's side of the family. So we did a blood test today and then I'm having another one on Thursday and I go back for a u.s next Friday. So I need some words of encouragement :/

Has this happened to anyone or is happening to anyone? This is my first pregnancy and diabetes was also my fear.

Oh and can I see anyone's gender scan for a girl at 20 weeks. He said baby's a girl but I wasn't too convinced. I think the baby didn't have his/her legs far enough apart to get a clear view.
