How should the U.S. welcome undocumented children?

You mean, undocumented children being brought by parents? The whole family should be sent back.

I am all for immigration, but do it legally. It is not the child's fault, yet parents shouldn't get a free pass because they chose to do something illegal with a child.

Now, if the family sent the kid to live with other family- the family should be deported as well, or if they are citizens, jailed and fined. They are also committing a crime.

They did not chose to do this, their parents did. We do not choose the circumstances of our birth and it is unfair to hold it against them. If we actually enforced our laws it would not be a problem, busy since we don't we need to give the kids a chance. The parents, not so much

If their home situation is dangerous maybe they should be placed with willing families or foster homes here, I do realize some foster homes are terrible but if they are in a situation which caused them to flee they are refugees. I do think that illegal immigrants should be deported, people who come here the legal way spend thousands of dollars on legal fees as well as filing fees, it is highly unfair that illegal immigrants get here for free and some use govt. benefits.
