Where does baby go when

Question

You and baby are home alone, and you have to go to the bathroom? I know people can clean, shower, nap, etc when baby is sleeping. And going to the bathroom to pee really quick while they are in their crib/bassinet is fine...but what do y'all do when you have to poop and baby is crying?

Once I had to go all the sudden when she was nursing so I just held her while I did my business. Gotta do what you gotta do!!

I hold the baby when he is upset. Or just put him in the bounce Chair with me in the bathroom

When baby was super little I brought her in her car seat (only seat I had at the time) but now I just let her roll around on the floor. She'll be fine for 5 mins. Or in her pack n play.

I can't poop and hold the baby at the same time. That just sounds too gross to me. I would just pop her down and let her fuss for a minute or two and went quick and come back.

Car seat with the vent or heater on. She likes the noise from it and the car seat I can carry around the house or upstairs easier than the swing

Yes, a challenge for sure. Once I just had to be quick and just let her cry. The alternative sounded worse 😂😂
I have also taken her with me in arms or her lounger. The things we must do. Now I know why moms of small kids feel so happy when their kids are old enough to not have to be in the restroom with you!!!

I've totally held my daughter while peeing. I REALLY had to go and she REALLY had to eat. But never pooping. I've brought her rock n play in the bathroom if I knew I had to go pooh

This is the best thing for these situations lol. It is the Fisher Price Infant to Toddler Rocker. We have used it since the day we brought our little one home from the hospital. If I have to use the restroom and I'm home alone i put her in her chair (if she isn't already in it) and carry it to the bathroom. I hand her a toy or two or use the overhead toy that came with it. I'm able to use the bathroom and rock her if she is crying or cranky.

I also use this when i wanna wash up some dishes or cook dinner. She's 4 1/2 months old now and we are still using this. If we didn't have it, I'd probably use her rocker sleeper or car seat.
