In terms of cloth diapers, which do you prefer?

Baby isn't due until April but I'm getting all in ones so that my SO won't be overwhelmed and will actually participate in diaper changes

I prefer all in twos. So a shaped nappy with a wrap. I found they dried better and you don't need so many
 The all in ones I had leaked around the legs.

Covers and prefolds all the way. Clotheez diapers, I don't really have a favorite cover.

I want to try the "all in twos". I've done some research and really like the Flip Hybrid System. Hopefully my boyfriend will get the hang of it.

If you use covers, isn't it kinda gross to reuse the cover and pull out the wet soaker?

Neither. We prefer covers with FSTs or GroVia soaker inserts.

I love the ease of AIOs however once baby becomes a toddler and owes a lot more I prefer pockets to adjust the absorbency level. My kids leaked thru AIOs when they got older.
