I just got an ultrasound today. I don't know when my EDD is because of the fact that I have irregular periods and my last one was in August. The nurse said the sac measures 5 weeks 4 days. She said there was only a yolk sac. Is this normal for 5W4D???

This is perfectly normal. I went in at 6.1 weeks and just had gestational and yolk sacs and at 7.1 weeks there was a baby and a heartbeat! Longest week of my life waiting but so worth it!

I had mine today. They said it measured 6w1d and all we could see was the yolk sack, no heartbeat yet.

That's all I had at 5 weeks. The baby is really tiny. I went back the next week, and there was something there to measure.
