I had no idea a HSG test was going to be so painful!!! Holy cow! I had to sit in the doctors office for an hour before I could crawl out of the fetal position. I wasn't given any antibiotics and they didn't tell me I needed to take Motrin beforehand... How long did you wait to have sex? I've heard this test can also clear your tubes and stuff out and can sometmes help you conceive... Anyone else heard that? I ovulate on December 16. Good news no blockage and everything was perfect... Just that marvelous "unexplained infertility "
