So I found out 3 weeks ago that I am pregnant. According to the dates, I should have been 9 weeks when I went for my ultrasound to confirm last week. She couldnt find a heartbeat or really see the baby. She ended up doing a vaginal ultrasound and measured me at 5 weeks 4 days and said to come back in 2 weeks. I have been doing pretty good up until a few days ago. I started spotting. It is mainly brown which I know is old blood. But every now and then it is bright pinkish to red. I have no pain whatsoever. I still am extremely nauseous and still have adversions to certain foods... my question is, could the bleeding have been caused from the vaginal ultrasound or is it possible I am starting to lose the baby? I have had miscarriages before and they were painful, etc... My husband is so scared for the baby right now and hes starting to worry me. I can't go into the drs just yet because he just started a new job and our insurance hasn't kicked in yet.
