With my first we did the whole gender reveal party with cupcakes. It was so much fun. The technician wrote boy on a peice of paper and sealed it in an envelope that we took to the baker and he put the colored frosting in the cupcakes. The first night my mom, boyfriend and I found out. The next day my aunt, uncles and cousins found out when we went to their house 2 hours away and did the cupcakes again. I think I will do a similar reveal with this baby. It was a fun way to find out. My uncles drove 5 hours after their fishing trip because we wouldn't tell them. It was so funny seeing late 50's early 60's men run into a house and ask do you have anymore cupcakes? Once we said yes then they all had to run to the bathroom then ate the cupcakes. It was so much fun.

I don't like to feel unprepared and I don't particularly like yellow too much lol

I want to find out because I have a strong feeling that we're having a girl so unless we find out from a doctor, I'll make that assumption the whole time and I wouldn't want to picture the baby as a little girl the whole time if it turns out we're really having a boy (I'll be happy either way!)  If I didn't feel like I "knew" I might leave it up in the air and find out at birth. The other reason I think I'll do it is a friend of mine waited to be surprised at birth but after 3 days of labor, she was too exhausted to be surprised by any news!

We will definitely find out and we will as soon as we can. I believe 14 Weeks is the soonest our 3d4d imaging place will do it!

We'd like to know so that when we have our shower, we're not getting a ton of pink things and then end up with a boy! And also so I can mentally prepare more and not have the anticipation anxiety. I suffer from pretty intense anxiety as it is.
