I thought i was 7 weeks

I went in Monday for my first visit and had a ultrasound done and all they showed me was my uterus no baby no heartbeat.. They tested my hcg and I have to ho back Wednesday could it be that I'm less then 7 weeks ?? Anybody had this situation??? I'm really scared something is wrong
