I've had Madeline aka Maddy picked out for my first baby's name for six months now and all my friends knew. Well...one of my best friends told me how much she loved the name and she ended up being pregnant with her second girl, due about a month after me. She just told me she was considering naming her baby Adeline aka Addy.. ?????!!!!  I was a little shocked so just said oh that's nice, name your baby whatever you want, they're different names, etc. However, after thinking about it more, I definitely don't want her to do this! I feel like she had first dibs on names with her first girl and now it should be my baby's time to shine independently without always being linked as "Maddy and Addy"... Is this worth getting upset over? What should I do?! So annoyed bc there's a zillion other beautiful names to choose from so totally unclear why she's copying mine...
