How many Godparents can you have?

We have some very close friends that would make amazing Godparents, but we already have 2 Godmothers and 2 Godfathers for our baby girl. My question is how many can you actually have involved in the Christening?

Typically people have one of each, but who is to say you can't have more?! Do what ever makes you happy. 😉

My son has my brother and my husband's brother. You can have as many as you want! Have you seen how many the royal children have?

My children Have two of each, just in case something happens and a child can never have too much love.
