Put my dog to sleep today
I know this isnt a dog app but i just am so so sad. We put my fil's dog to sleep today. And ive grown very attached and bonded to this dog over the last 8 years. I basically lived at my fil's house the hole time my husband and i were dating, so when i say my dog its bc i loved her like she was one of my own.
She was 16 and had a massive tumor on her butt and it was growing rapidly and growing into her rectum which eventually wouldve killed her. And its ruptured a few times in the last month and she was at our house for the past week and last night it ruptured and she probably lost 2-3 pints of blood. So the decission was made to have her put down and ive been crying all day and now my head hurts. She had so much life left in her. She wasnt an old decrepit dog. She wanted to run and jump and play with every one. And im just so sad.
