I had my 38 week check up today. The nurse told me to undress from the waist down because they were going to do a check. Then after waiting for what seemed like forever the Dr came in and asked me all the same routine questions the nurse asked, then told me he wouldn't be doing a check because I 'haven't been having contractions and I'm not 40 weeks yet'

I was disappointed and expressed to him my disappointment, but he still didn't budge. Then he scheduled my induction date for January 3rd...

I'm still disappointed because I'd like to keep up with that information, even if they say it doesn't mean anything.
