17 weeks and feeling kicks is this normal??

I will be 17 weeks tomorrow. For the past few weeks I have felt flutters/twitches, but last night and this morning I can definitely feel baby moving around and kicking. My fiancé could also feel the kicks last night, they were so noticeable that it would startle me and make me jump. It's so exciting to feel that but is it normal to be feeling that so early on? This is my first pregnancy.
