If I get my period with PCOS regularly, does that mean I'm ovulating?

I didn't get my period for about a year and then I went to the doctors and found out I have pcos. I went on birth control for a few months but then went off it. I started going to a chiropractor and eating healthy and My period came back and now I get it every 30 days. Is there a good chance that I'm ovulating again?

You could be ovulating but just because you have a period doesn't mean that you ovulate.

I have pcos and I've always had a period every month even on an IUD but I don't always ovulate. Doc just put me on clomid to help and hopefully get pregnant

You could be ovulating but having a period doesn't mean you are(atleast with PCOS it doesn't). I have PCOS and asked my doctor this exact question and that is what she told me. Good Luck
