Yesterday I hit 12w and was so happy to be so close to finishing the trimester. Today I felt what I can only explain as a "contraction" and 30 minutes later a ton of blood followed. We went to the ED and they didn't seem to think it very serious. After an hour of bleeding all the way through my jeans and down my thighs, they finally took me back for blood work and an ultrasound. The tech was nice enough to let me watch the US. I saw that my baby was moving and I could see the heartbeat going so this gave me hope! After my US they sent me back into the ED waiting room where I sat in a diaper for 4.5 hours before finally deciding to go to another hospital. In the other hospital, they were able to give me my results right away. My baby is measuring at 12w5d and 163 BPM. They told me it's a "threatened miscarriage" it will either happen or it won't there's no way to stop it. I'm praying that this passes and that its just a "broken vessel" as they said possible. I believe in prayer so if you all can send some my way, I appreciate it. Also, if anyone has been in a similar situation and you are fine with sharing please let me know.
