Do you think/feel that being fingered or eaten out is sex?

I don't feel that being fingered or cunnilingus is considered "sex", but it is sexual activity. Sex to me means PIV/PIA (sex between lesbians is slightly different in my mind), not a finger or someone licking you.

I'm curious to know how other people feel/think.  
Some people have even told me they considered "making out" as sex as well.

I mean, it is oral sex. But does that mean you've lost your virginity (if that's important to you) just from doing oral? I think since that's a social concept, what people consider sex, too, depends on the person.

I've had/done oral. But I still consider myself a virgin because a penis has never penetrated me. But obviously for gay couples, what they consider sex is different... It just all depends on the person, honestly.
