Is it wrong for a senior to date a freshman?

We have always been friends and he acts pretty mature for his age, but people (majority the freshman) giving us a hard time because he chose me over another freshman.

I met my boyfriend when he was a senior and I was a freshman. He graduated in 2014 and after many ups and down were happily in love still 😊

No. There's this guy at my school who started dating his gf who's a senior as a freshman. He's now a senior and they are still madly in love. Do what makes you happy like that song by John Mayer "Who you love". You love who you love. I live by this song.
